This design was based on the idea that I could turn the iconic shapes of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House into one interlocking design, with a complex array of triangular shapes within the extended curves of the Opera House. Each section of the Opera House is made up from a collage of Sydney tourist literature, and then overpainted in thin glazes of acrylic.  The finished painting was immediately claimed by my daughter, who lives in Sydney.
