A memory of of a wonderful summer day painting at this idyllic spot on the island of St Martin's. I set my old French easel up on the sand to paint this and, other than a couple drifting by in a dinghy, I never saw a soul the whole time. Later on, as I wandered back to the boat to take me back home to St Mary's,  I got involved in a cricket match as a spare fielder as the home side were a little short that day.
