Red Dinghy by the Harbour Wall      33cm x 52cm         watercolour on watercolour paper

I was attracted to the bold flash of red on this battered dinghy lying on Town Beach on St Mary's. And yes, the transom really was painted a different colour from the rest of the hull! The textures of the sea weed covered granite harbour wall were also interesting to paint.
